Eligibility & Making Changes

Whether you’re just getting started at Tarsus, welcoming someone new to your family, or experiencing another life change, it’s important to know when you can enroll and who you can cover. The Tarsus benefits plan year runs from January 1 through December 31, with opportunities to enroll when you first become eligible, during Open Enrollment, or after a Qualifying Life Event (QLE).

Who can enroll?

Eligibility

If you’re a full-time Tarsan regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week, your benefits begin on the first day of the month following your date of hire. You can also extend coverage to eligible members of your family.

Making Changes During the Year

Life can bring exciting milestones and unexpected changes. A marriage, new child, change in coverage, or other qualifying life event may give you an opportunity to update your benefits before the next Open Enrollment.

You’ll have 30 days from the date of the event to make any benefit changes. Depending on the event, you may also need to provide documentation. Taking action as soon as you can will help make sure you and your family have the coverage you need.

New Baby?

Remember to enroll your baby in your benefits and submit the required documentation within 30 days of their birth. Coverage isn’t automatic, so taking action by the deadline is important.
