Two layers of income protection
Tarsus automatically provides eligible employees with Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage at no cost.
Support for temporary conditions
If a covered illness or injury temporarily keeps you from working, Short-Term Disability replaces 66⅔% of your weekly salary, up to $3,000 per week.
Benefits begin on the seventh day of an approved absence and can continue for up to 25 weeks.
Support for a longer recovery
If a covered illness or injury keeps you from working for more than 180 days, Long-Term Disability can provide continued income support. The plan replaces 60% of your base salary, up to $15,000 per month.
Your benefit may be reduced by income you receive from other sources, such as Social Security or workers’ compensation.
